The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has expressed satisfaction with the steps taken so far by the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, describing them as “the right steps in the right directions.”
In a congratulatory message following the reaffirmation of the victory of Governor Uzodimma by the Supreme Court, Chairman of the Imo State Chapter of NIPR, Loveth Ekwemalor urged him to run an all–inclusive government, with focus on people–oriented programmes such as, Roads, Agriculture, Housing, Education, Sanitation and Health-Care delivery.
Ekwemalor wrote: “Now you have settled down to work, we urge Your Excellency to run an all inclusive government and give priority to people-oriented programmes like Roads, Agriculture, Housing, Education, Sanitation, Health Care delivery, etc.
“Your Excellency’s performance since assumption of office leaves no one in doubt that Your Excellency has taken the right steps in the right directions and sooner, Imo State will be a cynosure of all eyes.
“We pledge our unalloyed loyalty to Your Excellency’s government, and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship between Your Excellency’s administration and our Institute.
“We pray the God will grant Your Excellency and cabinet the wisdom to run Imo State, and equally, protect and guide Your Excellency throughout Your Excellency’s tenure and beyond.”
