The leaders of Ogwuama Ahiara Autonomous Community in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State have congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma on his giant strides in infrastructural development, few months in office.
Led by the traditional ruler, HRH Eze Sabinus Ndubuisi Nwaneche, the community leaders made their views known during a solidarity visit to their illustrious son, the Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser to the Governor of Imo State, Mr. Oguwike Nwachuku at the Government House Owerri, Thursday.
Others on the Monarch’s entourage include Elder Peter Atunwa, Messrs Patrick Nwagwu, Benjamin Ihiasa and John Nwachukwu.
They said that the visible road infrastructure, both the completed and the on-going ones, especially in Owerri Municipal and its environs are eloquent testimonies of many more good things that the Governor is set to bequeath to Imo people in the years to come.
They used the opportunity to thank Governor Uzodimma for finding their son worthy to appointed his Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser, noting that the governor was not in doubt of Mr. Nwachuku’s professional competence and wealth of experience in journalism as well as his humble dispositions to service to God and humanity.
They affirmed that “based on the track records of Oguwike Nwachuku, as a core professional,” they are convinced that “he will not disappoint the Governor and the State,” assuring that they know him as an achiever in whatever positions he has occupied.
Responding, Mr. Nwachuku who was elated at the coming of his people to see him in the office and the encomiums they poured on him in the areas of efficiency and effectiveness, expressed his profound gratitude to Governor Uzodimma for considering him worthy of his appointment amid many other equally competent and qualified Imo citizens.
He thanked his people for recognizing the efforts and the achievements of his principle (the Governor) in the few months of his administration in Imo State and encouraged them to continue to support him as there would not have been a better alternative who would appreciate the people and the community better than Governor Uzodimma.
Mr. Nwachuku also enjoined them to continue to support the All Progressive Congress administration at the state, the Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Uzodimma based on the 3-Rs Mantra of Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Recovery which he said, will spread to every Community of which Ogwuama Autonomous Community will not be left out.
He requested them to continue to pray for the good health and God’s guidance for Governor Uzodimma and those working with him.
