Former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzodinma Kalu has joined the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC)
He did in Abuja on Wednesday when he went to the headquarters of the party , and was admitted by the APC national chairman , John Odigie Oyegun .
The move is believed to be in line with the coming 2019 elections and Kalu’s desire to remain politically relevant in a polity where he has been rendered politically irrelevant.
This is not the first time Kalu will be making such a political move as he did with the All People’s Party , the Progressive People’s Alliance, and the People’s Democratic Party .
Analysts think Kalu’s latest move may not unconnected to his resolve to seek a place in the Senate in 2019 as his traducers in the PDP may not give him room to return to the party in the nearest future .
