The People’s Democratic Party will on August 12 hold its non elective national convention in Abuja, Armadanews.com has learnt.
The Party’s National Executive Committee which met at the PDP headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday to review its journey so far after the Supreme Court ruling that returned Ahmed Markafi-led committee as autentic, had in attendance the who is who in the party.
Presided over by Markafi the Party used the opportunity to thank the members for remaining steadfast during the period of trials at the courts and reminded them that the time to work for the good of the party and the country has come.
In attendance include the governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose who is also the chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Deputy President of the Senate Ike Ekweremadu, Senator Ben Obi, Senate Minority Leader Godswill Akpabio among others.
