Former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi on Friday, September 27, 2019 donated an 18-Seat Bus to El-Shalom Convent, New Heaven, Ogbaru in Anambra State.
He was received by two Anglican bishops of Ogbaru and Etche dioceses, Rt. Revd. Prosper Amah and Rt. Revd. Precious Nwala.
The vehicle was handed over to the Senior Prefect of the school who on behalf of the students expressed happiness and joy for receiving such a great gift from the former governor.
Despite leaving office more than five years ago, Obi has continued to make monetary, vehicular and other material donations tom schools in Anambra state in particular and other states in Nigeria.
As governor he donated two buses each to every secondary school in Anambra State, a noble gesture he has continued to uphold despite not vying any political office.
