The police in Osun state have commenced a manhunt for the killers of six members of a family in Irewole Local Government Area of the state.
Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode, gave the marching order, when he led security operatives to the scene.
Some yet – to – be identified gunmen, on Saturday, stormed farming settlement in Wasinmi village, Irewole Local Government Area of Osun and shot dead the six persons, identified as members of the same family, leaving one other injured.
Accordingly to reports, the gunmen stormed the farming settlement and opened fire on people, leaving the six persons dead.
The Osun police Spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident to journalists in Osogbo on Sunday.
