Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu has directed the Bayelsa state commissioner of police ro arrest the youth who assaulted a deputy commissioner of police in the state on Sunday.
The IGP gave the directive as thw Force spokesman, Frank Mba said the said DCP was assaulted and not abducted as claimed by Bayelsa state government.
Mba however said the assault was seŕious and will not go unpunnished.
The assault has set Governor Seriake Dickson amd his predecessor, Timipre Silva on collision course as to who masterminded the assault.
Dickson said the Brass youth were working for Silva for election purposes.
