Pope Francis Pardons Ahiara Diocese Priests

Pope Francis has acknowlwdged the letter of apology written to him by priests from the troubled Ahiara Diocese and said he has forgiven them.

The letter of apology was written on Monday, July 3 and was acknowledged by Rome on Wednesday, July 5 according to document from the office of the  The Apostolic Nunciature, Office of the Pope here in Nigeria.

Tagged “I Bring Greetings And Best Wishes From Rome To The Priest Of Ahiara Diocese”, the Pontiff said he had offered full forgiveness for all past acts of omission and commission, saying he looked forward to embracing everyone in the news spirit of loyalty and communion.

“We continue our fervent prayers that the holy spirit may guide everyone into the part of full communion with the Church cum est sub Petro,” the Pope added.
