President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Super Eagles over their 2- 0 victory against Iceland during Friday match with Nigeria in Russia.
Buhari lauded the confidence, discipline, team work and indomitable spirit displayed by the players that saw them beating Iceland at the World Cup elimination series match.
Buhari urged the players not to limut themselves by the victory but to sustain the tempo as they comfront Argentina next week.
” I am confident that if our players believe in themselves, they can qualify out of the their difficult group and even go very far in the tournament,” Femi Adesina, Buhari’s spokesman quoted him as saying.
Buhari urged Nigerians to rally round our team by supporting them in whatever form they can.
