A fiery politician, Nze Stanley Onuoha has taken a swipe at Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State for accusing his deputy, Eze Madumere of betraying him, challenging him to tell the people his grouse with his deputy.

Onuoha made the statement while fielding questions from newsmen On Friday in Owerri.

He wondered why Okorocha would expect an American trained technocrat to have abandoned a flourishing career in America to help build a political dynasty only to be messed up after demonstrating rare devotion, humility and capacity with unbridled following.

Onuoha recalled how they had in their meeting with Okorocha agreed that Madumere would succeed him for his experience, capacity and having been exposed to the exclusive reserve of the administration of government.

His words: I am happy Governor Okorocha acknowledged that Madumere has always been his first choice, the question now is what happened? What is his grouse with Madumere? Are there limitations he sees around Madumere? Let him tell Ndi Imo and Nigerians. This same Madumere pocketed whatever he was, humbled himself, suffered all manner of humiliations during all his political exploits and all of a sudden he is no longer useful. It is Okorocha that will not have peace,” he enthused.

He further revealed that Okorocha has lost the opportunity of producing a successor due to disdain to listening to voices of reasoning, which he said  will eventually rubbish his legacies.

Onuoha however reminded Okorocha of those who lost respect and relevance in the polity due to their inability to make the right choice as successors. He insisted that whosoever that is presented as would be successor without the acceptance of the party and the people will surely fail.

The businessman turned politician queries why Okorocha has refused to consider anybody from either Okigwe or Owerri zones but only from his family as represented by his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, an Orlu man.

Meanwhile, Kingsley Ononuju has accused  Okorocha of plot to destroy All Progressives Congress, thereby rendering the party incapable of winning elections in the State. He alleged that his actions may not be unconnected with his rumoured effort to move to another party.

He alleged that Okorocha’s wanton destruction of people’s businesses in the name of urban renewal is unfortunate, an action he said has rendered people of the State so impoverished that most of them go starving.
