The President also approved the appointment of three new Executive Directors for the Corporation. They are; Aminu Ismail, Adeshola Lamidi and Lucky Adaghe.
The appointments , according to a release issued on Thursday by presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, are subject to the confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.
According to Ngelale, the President expects unflagging dedication, professionalism, and dutifulness from the new appointees so as to ensure that the operations of AMCON are more efficient, transparent, and in consonance with his determination to sanitize the nation’s financial system to maximize value and enhance investor confidence in the Nigerian economy.
Also on Thursday, Tinubu approved the appointment of qualified Nigerians to serve in three agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
The new appointees, according to Ngelale include Abraham Oshadami — Executive Commissioner, Technical Services; Rimini Makama — Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management and Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi — President/CEO, Digital Bridge Institute for the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
The Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited has Abiodun Attah as Executive Director, Technical Services;
Aisha Abdullahi, Executive Director, Finance & Administration and Jaiyeola Awokoya, Executive Director, Marketing & Business Development.
The new appointees for Galaxy Backbone (BB) Limited include Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju, Managing Director/CEO ; Mohammed Sani Ibrahim, Executive Director, Finance & Corporate Services; Olusegun Olulade, Executive Director, Customer Centricity & Marketing and Olumbe Akinkugbe, Executive Director, Digital Exploration & Technical Services.
