Former Governor Tinubu of Lagos State has said he does not owe any apology to anyone over a bullion van sighted in his home on Friday which many said brought money for the purpose of election rigging.

But Tinubu said he is not involved in vote buying.

However, he said he does not ask for contract from government or its agencies and that he has the right to spend his money the way he deems necessary.

“I have the right to spend my money, I can it to the poor but I don’t buy votes,” he said while talking to newsmen after casting his ballot and the reason the bullion van was sighted in his home in Bourdillon, Ikoyi Lagos.
