Two persons have reportedly lost their lives as a gas explosion rocked the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library complex in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The explosion, which reportedly occurred at about 11:am at the Marque event centre within the Presidential Library when technicians were topping up gas into the air conditioner (AC).
This incident came barely 48 hours after another gas explosion claimed two lives at the Conference Hotel, situated directly opposite the Library.
No fewer than six persons have been reported dead in the last two weeks due to gas explosion in Ogun state.
The management was yet to issue an official statement as of the time of filing this report.
