Former Governor of Imo State, Achike Udenwa has distanced himself from insinuations that he has dumped the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
It was insinuated recently that Udenwa was romancing with the APGA and may soon defect formally.
But one of his key political associates, Mayor Eze, a former House of Representatives member from Imo State said there is no truth in the rumour.
Eze said: “H.E, Chief Achike Udenwa is still a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Pls, disregard the rumours about APGA.”
Udenwa was governor of Imo State for eight years. He was later appointed minister under the administration of late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.
