Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly in Lagos Nigeria, Tunde Bakare is optimistic he would become the president of Nigeria one day.
He said his optimism was in synch with God’s plan and purpose for Nigeria.
Bakare was fielding questions from the Channels Television Sunday Politics where he reiterated that the president Muhammadu Buhari ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has not lived up to its promises to Nigerians.
However, Bakare said he would not run against Buhari if he is running again on 2019 and maintained he could not advice him to run or not as the choice remains that of the President in line with the constitution of the country.
Bakare said he was in agreement with former President Olusegun Obasanjo that the APC has not done well and added that currently the country needs to be rebuilt from bottom up and not the traditional up to bottom model.
Bakare condenmed the idea of cattle colonies as being proposed by the government and said the idea sounds like an attempt to recolonise Nigerians by some people who incidentally are Nigerians.
According to Bakare, the idea of the federal government blaming past governments or individuals for the hardship Nigerians are going through shows that the APC government is not taking responsibility for reason it is in power.
