World cup:Croatia daze Nigeria 2-0

The match on Saturday, June 16 between Nigeria and Croatia at the ongoing world cup in Moscow, Russia went in faviur of Croatia which dazed Nigeria two goals to nothing.

The first half of the encounter saw Croatia leading with one goal following a lone goal from Nigeria’s Efobe.

The Croatians consolidated their win furing the second half when another Super Eagles defender caused a free kick to be awarded in favour of Croatia which they converted to another goal with ease.

Throughout the first half of the match, the only visible player appeared to be the Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi.

Chelsea striker, Victor Moses failed to carry his weight until the second half when he battled to impress. It was too late as the Croatians kept marking him closely.

Many Nigerian fans put up long faces when it became obvious that the Super Eagles were not going to make big impact when the match ran its full 90 minutes circle before the four mins injury time was awarded.
